Our mission comes alive in stories like Robert and Alice’s – a couple who had lived in their home for over 45 years. Robert, a veteran, and his wife were in desperate need of repairs. Concerned neighbors noticed the unsafe and unhealthy conditions in their home and reached out to RTAAC for help. After inspecting the property, we made key repairs, including a new roof, a replacement kitchen floor and countertop, a new dishwasher, and a ramp to improve accessibility. As the repairs were underway, neighbors came together to clear out unwanted items, and RTAAC Board members pitched in to tidy up the yard. We’re always grateful to partner with the community in improving not just houses, but the health and well-being of our neighbors.
