Community Impact July 2024

Rebuilding Together Anne Arundel County (RTAAC) recently completed a vital home repair project in Churchton, MD, improving the safety and functionality of a local resident's home. The project, executed by ACE Plumbing and Home Services, addressed significant issues- including failed septic piping and corroded water lines. The bathroom was entirely remodeled, with new water and drain lines, updated electrical work, repaired framing, and new drywall and tiling. The installation of a new vanity, shower, and fixtures transformed the space, ensuring the home now has a safe and functional bathroom after years of sewage leakage into the crawl space.

In addition to the extensive contracted repairs, RTAAC volunteers provided further enhancements by performing touch-up painting and pressure washing the exterior of the home. These efforts were done at no additional cost to the homeowner, reflecting our dedication to going above and beyond in serving the community. This project is a testament to our mission of creating safe, healthy living environments for vulnerable residents in need.
