Community Impact August 2024
This month, Rebuilding Together Anne Arundel County (RTAAC) completed a vital renovation for a resident in Annapolis, MD, aimed at making their bathroom more accessible for our client. The project, executed by Page Contracting Services, involved demolishing the existing bathroom, including the tub, walls, toilet, sink, and flooring. A new, more accessible bathroom was constructed to meet the homeowner's mobility needs, including a step-in shower, which provides easier access compared to traditional bathtubs. Step-in showers eliminate the need to climb over a tub wall, reducing the risk of falls and making it safer for individuals with limited mobility. This renovation ensures that the homeowner can now more safely and comfortably use their facilities, supporting RTAAC's ongoing commitment to improving accessibility and quality of life for those in need.
